I'm down for it ....
Give some thought as to what kind of tasks & work you want to accomplish and if there are any tools that might be needed.
Do yall want to just do pizza for simplicity?

I'm planning to be there. Do I need to bring my BFH?
I'll probably hit Shucker's first...maybe we can have a shuttle from there to minimize the number of rigs at Brian's? Just a thought.

I should have all of the tools necessary for this event but you can never have to many BFH's!!
I'm thinking well start getting the rear end ready which means:
removing the old axle
removing the leafs
removing the rear bumper/hitch/gas tank skid
dropping the fuel tank
I also have one last tire & beadlock that needs to be mounted
If we have time left we can mock up the new rear crossmember for the 4-link and slide the new rear axle underneath.
I don't want to be running air tools and grinders at 9:30 at night, neighbors are too close... _________________ Eric: I got Krawlers & airshocks - wadda you got?!?

I probably won't eat at Shucker's, but I think the carpool idea is a good one.
I'll see you there around twenty after? _________________ 93 YJ

I won't be making it. I'm getting ready to head
up North to play in the snow. I'll drop the bag
by Bryan's house. He said he could bring it to
the Wake Forest meeting. |

Just wanted to say thanks again for everyone who showed up and helped out at the meeting! The rear end came apart quickly and Ive made some decent progress getting it back together.
Looking forward to the next "tech" meeting!! _________________ Eric: I got Krawlers & airshocks - wadda you got?!?

Yeah, it was a pleasure! Thanks for the hospitality!
So here are the minutes. sorta.
I was very late, and I don't know what all happened before I got there, but not much, I think.
Shortly after I arrived, we started on the rear of Brian's Jeep, and we actually got everything done.
Brian was very well prepared, and has plenty of tools.
We pulled the axle, the rear leafs, the bumper amalgamation, and we dropped the fuel tank. and I got gasoline on my face.
Next time we drop a fuel tank, we should have the little tool to disconnect the line, so we don't have to cut it.
Did I miss anything? should I bring up the proximity of Josh's butt to the heater?
Anyway, we were pretty productive, and I think everyone had a good time.
I'm looking forward to our next tech meeting! _________________ 93 YJ
